NIKE: Launching a new kit for Sporting de Gijón

A new shirt launch is a big moment for a football club. That badge means everything to passionate football fans.

So Nike asked us to come up with an identity to help promote the launch of the 2017/2018 Sporting de Gijón kit. Something that really spoke to the way the fans saw themselves.
We partnered with Nike and the great team at Binalogue in Madrid to position Sporting de Gijón as a team. And then to create a line in Spanish to encapsulate that feeling.

Together we developed La union nos hace fuertes (literal translation ‘the union makes us strong’’).

This encapsulates the proud history and optimistic future of the club. This line then formed part of a series of online art pieces to promote the launch.
